Italy Part 2 | London Ontario Photographer

This is the second blog post of our trip to Europe you can find the first post here. My husband and I went in October 2013 for our 10 year anniversary. These are just a few images that I played around with and edited to my fancy. Photography is my art and sometimes I like to throw out my usual style and have some fun. I only took my 40mm 2.8 pancake lens and the focal length was certainly limiting in some situations but I managed to get a few great shots. This one is a view from outside Pisa, Italy. We left the city in a cab to get back to our cruise ship, and I saw this view while on a traffic jam on the bridge. I quickly grabbed my camera and I'm so glad I did, because I think this one might be my favourite from the entire trip!

The gorgeous tower of Pisa. I tried to avoid the crowds and couldn't get the entire building in the frame so I had a little fun editing this one to my liking.:)

Below is an incredible sunset outside of Rome. (I think) There were so many amazing sunsets in the Mediteranean!

Another GORGEOUS sunset at port in Civitavecchia, Italy.

If you know me, you'll know that I cannot live without a GOOD cup of coffee (or three), and while there are no Starbucks in Italy, I did enjoy my coffee Italian style! It was really good!

The three images below are random views around the Vatican in Rome. What an incredible experience this was for us. I don't think I have ever seen so many people in one place before. Interesting fact: you cannot buy a bible anywhere in the Vatican.
